Every denture wearer has different demands which is why the Denture Center offers a handful of custom denture lines. During the free consultation you and our denture specialist team will determine what works best for you. Custom shades, fittings, and sizing that best suit your wants and needs are how the process begins. A wax model try-in is then used to be sure that you and our team are satisfied with the look, fit, and sizing of the entire denture. Thereafter, In most cases due to our in-house lab, we can have a new set of dentures turned around in approximately one week so that you can start enjoying your new smile as quickly as possible.
The Denture Center offers full-service denture repair and partial denture repair by utilizing techniques and materials that provide the utmost precision and strength to our denture repairs and partial repairs. From a simple fracture, compound fractures and cracks, broken teeth, or acrylic separation the Denture Center is able to complete a repair within 30 minutes to one hour. However, please refrain from attempting any form of home repair as it is very likely that foreign materials or adhesives will permanently ruin the denture. We offer a waiting room for your convenience or feel free to enjoy the downtown Chambersburg area while you wait.
Our metal framework partials are designed with comfort and retention at the forefront. Our laboratory technicians only use Vitallium Alloy when fabricating one of our custom partial dentures. This material is at the highest of industry standards as it offers superior strength making it extremely fracture resistant and enabling us to construct a lighter, more refined partial with greater patient comfort. Retention is maintained by use of precision clasps that snuggly fit to your natural abutment tooth. This lightweight, natural, custom design will have you forgetting that you are wearing a partial denture at all.
If you have a metal allergy or have had trouble wearing a partial denture, a flexible partial should be your choice. A flexible partial denture his composed of a soft almost rubber like material known as thermoplastic that allows the partial to flex or bend. Through use of the thermoplastic a flexible partial is translucent becoming almost invisible when placed in the mouth, and due to it’s lightweight and form fitting nature a remarkably natural looking result is achieved.
For our line of acrylic partials we only choose the strongest acrylics available on the market. Reason being that a partial acrylic denture is a very fragile appliance. By using such a strong material in dental acrylic we offer one of the longer lasting and natural looking partial dentures available in the area.
When a denture wearer starts having problems with ill-fitting dentures, discomfort, or pain you may be a candidate for a reline or rebase. A reline or rebase is a refitting of the denture which can be done one of two ways. We offer a chair side reline which can be done while you wait, and the second option is to have a laboratory reline. A laboratory reline lasts many years more than a chair side reline. While both will make your denture fit very well the laboratory reline is going to not only last longer, but also have a much more precise fit. We can determine which option is best for you during one of our free consultations.
